Rainy and cold Saturday morning.|
Dela got apples and yogurt for first breakfast.
Now she's napping and Katie and I are downstairs listening to an NPR report on labor relations in the auto industry. Katie enjoys NPR as long as Nina Totenberg isn't on, which confuses me, as I like Nina Totenberg and I'm really a big fan of the Supreme Court, but Katie probably knows something I don't.
We go day to day around here. Systems are gradually being developed, mostly around diaper changing, trash storage and removal, laundry, food preparation... Nothing revolutionary, but there's a world of difference between processes for two adults and processes for two adults and an infant.
We got her through 4 weeks without any major troubles. Why does that feel like a massive accomplishment?
World Series starts tonight... Go Astros! What a historic pitching display this is going to be!! It's always a little sad, though, because in the back of my mind I know that when the series is over, there won't be another pitch thrown for the achingly long, dark, 6 months of Winter.
